Kan iemand mij helpen met onderstaande verzoek:

"My father was killed in a plane crash in the USA in 1963. I would love to hear from anyone that knew him or about him when he was with KLM. He flew for the ATC in WW2. After the war he was hired by KLM to be an instructor and then began to fly as a Captain for them. He in fact to the first KLM flied into Vienna after WW 2. The Connie he flew was “the Venlo”. Later on, he was stationed in Batavia . Then he was back in Amsterdam flying the route from Holland to Australia. He returned to the States in 1953 and flew for Phillips Oil Company."

Beste Ruud,

Een poos geleden trof ik dezelfde oproep aan op de site van Retired KLM Staff. Ik ben toen vervolgens met James in contact getreden, m.n. over het ongeval te Bangkok met de PH-TFF.
Wij hebben toen onderling wat zaken uitgewisseld over dit ongeval.

Ik heb heb toen ook aangegeven hem helaas zelf niet aan contacten te kunnen helpen, maar wel aangegeven dat dat het beste zou lukken via de diverse KLM gepensioneerden verenigingen.

Ik heb ook nog contact met een Engelse oud KLM Captain, maar hij kon zich niet (meer) herinneren met James Creel Sr. gevlogen te hebben.

Maar wie weet dat dit forum nu toch nog wat contacten op gaat leveren.
Zou leuk zijn.
